Very useful information on the importance of using registered interpreters appears on the Signature website and the website of the National Registers for Communication Professionals with Deaf and Deafblind People (NRCPD). Signature issue the Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Professional Practice. As a registered interpreter these documents inform how I conduct myself in my work.

The Sussex Sign Language Interpreters group (SSLI) is for interpreters registered by NRCPD who live and work in East or West Sussex, Brighton and Hove. A directory of members is useful for anyone looking to find a freelance interpreter.
